Old-Fashioned Beef Onion Rice Skillet 🍖🧅🍚🍽️

A cozy one-pan meal that brings the whole family together!

🍴 Ingredients:

* 1 lb ground beef
* 1 large onion, chopped
* 2 cups beef broth
* 1 cup long-grain rice
* 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* 1 tsp onion powder
* Salt and pepper to taste
* 1 cup frozen peas (optional)

👩🏽🍳 Instructions:

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.

2. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

3. Stir in the beef broth, diced tomatoes, rice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.

4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and has absorbed the liquid.

5. If using, stir in the frozen peas during the last 5 minutes of cooking.

6. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve warm.

📝 Notes: This dish is perfect for leftovers; just store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days!
