Bryan Hare completed and passed his Capstone assessment!
The capstone is a day made up of a written exam and then a hands on assessment. The written exam is made up firefighter and EMT knowledge along with Division of Fire & EMS operations questions.
It is then followed by a series of firefighter functions stations that he has the potential to use on the scene of an emergency scene. Some of those stations are establishing a water supply to a fire engine, climbing an aerial ladder, deploying a ladder and simulating a search in a 2nd story bedroom. He has learned and practiced these skills with other members of Local 3498 over the last 10 months in preparation for the Capstone and for use throughout his career. Congratulations Bryan!
