Our winter workers have arrived in the vineyards. 🐑

At Diemersdal, even our winter vineyard work reflects our commitment to sustainability, dry-land farming and working with nature wherever possible.

Guided by our viticulturist, Gerrit Visser, the sheep are moved into the vineyards during the winter months, where they graze naturally between the rows. In doing so, they assist with w**d control, return organic matter to the soil and support a healthier, more balanced vineyard ecosystem.

It is a simple, regenerative farming practice that reduces unnecessary mechanical intervention while enriching the land for the growing season ahead.

We are honoured to celebrate an outstanding result at the 2026 Investec Trophy Wine Show, with Juandré Bruwer named Champion Winemaker of the Year.

Diemersdal received 2 trophies - for the Diemersdal Grüner Veltliner 2024 in Niche White Class and The Journal Sauvignon Blanc 2021 in the Museum Class.
3 gold medals for the Private Collection 2021, Syrah 2023 and The Journal Pinotage 2023, as well as 9 silver medals.

Congratulations to Juandré and the Diemersdal cellar team on this remarkable recognition of dedication, precision and passion in every bottle. 🥂
