After many years of building and growing my own business, I’m stepping into a new and exciting chapter since last year's move to the Western Cape.

I’m incredibly grateful for the journey of entrepreneurship, and the thousands of individuals who have passed the "doors" of Level Ground in one form or another over the past decade. The experience shaped how I think about people, resilience, and what it truly takes to build healthy, functioning teams and environments.

With that foundation, I’m excited to share that I will be joining Risk X Group in Cape Town, as Head of People and Culture from 01 April this year.

This role feels like a natural extension of the work I’ve been drawn to over time - supporting people, strengthening teams, and helping create spaces where individuals and organisations can thrive.

I’m looking forward to learning, contributing, and growing alongside a dynamic team.

It is not a total goodbye to Level Ground for now, but does involve it only becoming a coaching offering (after hours) to my valued clients.

Thank you again to EVERY individual, team member, facilitator and venue I have had the privilege of working with, and who have been part of my journey so far. Your influence has been significant in forming who I am today.

Here’s to new beginnings.

Today, March 10, is apparently known as "Festival of Life in the Cracks Day."
It celebrates the tiny green shoots, moss, and flowers that grow out of the most unlikely places, cracks in sidewalks, walls, and concrete pavements.

These small signs of life remind us that nature has an incredible ability to grow and thrive even in harsh environments, and with minimal resources.

If you take a walk today and really look closely, you might notice them … small plants pushing their way through stone and asphalt, reaching toward the light despite the odds stacked against them.

They are quiet, unnoticed most of the time. But they are powerful symbols -
because life often works this way.

Many of us imagine that growth happens when everything is perfectly aligned; when conditions are ideal, when the path is clear, when life is smooth and supportive.
But the truth is that some of the strongest growth happens in the cracks.

In the difficult seasons.
In the unexpected changes.
In the moments where things feel broken, uncertain, or uncomfortable.

Resilience is not simply about surviving difficulty. It is about continuing to grow despite it.

Just like those small green shoots pushing through concrete, human beings have an incredible capacity to adapt, heal, and move forward - even when the environment around them feels hard, restrictive, or uncertain.

Sometimes the cracks in our lives become the very places where something new begins.
A new perspective.
A new strength.
A new purpose.

Today, perhaps take a moment to slow down and notice the small signs of life around you. Take a walk. Look for the tiny plants growing where they "shouldn't" be. Take a photograph of something unexpected and beautiful.

And maybe reflect on this:
Where in your life have you grown BECAUSE of the cracks, not in spite of them? The tiny bits of hope and opportunity available, that seemed unlikely to others?

Often, the places that felt broken become the spaces where resilience takes root - and where we learn not just to survive, but to thrive.

To start 2026 off, I had the pleasure of designing and facilitating an interactive online learning session this week for Encona - Academy, Production, Consulting, Platforms, with participants joining from the USA, South Africa, Canada, and Taiwan as part of an annual session held with their internationally based Facilitators.

The session was intentionally interactive, including an interest-teaser sent a day before the session, and short, focused interactions and conversations woven through the content. This allowed participants - all seasoned training facilitators - to reflect, share perspectives, and actively shape the session in real time.

What stood out once again is how much learning has evolved in today’s world. Technology gives us reach, speed, and scale, but it does not replace what people fundamentally need to experience...
human interaction, reflection, and connection - especially in our increasing "disconnect" being experienced by so many.

Facilitators today are not just content-holders. We are space-holders, designing experiences where people can think together, learn from one another, and make meaning - and feel a renewed sense of purpose - that actually sticks.

Thank you to and the participants for the energy, insight, and openness you brought into the room across time zones and continents... as always, I learnt something new myself, as I do with every group I have the privilege of interacting with!

I work with organisations across industries to develop the human skills that sit underneath performance... communication, emotional intelligence, facilitation, leadership presence, client engagement skills, and decision-making under pressure.

Sessions are practical, interactive, time-aware, and deliberately human-centred, designed to translate learning directly into how people lead, collaborate, and work with colleagues and clients - delivered both in person and online.
