PLANNED ELECTRICITY SUPPLY INTERRUPTION.

09 June 2026

Dear residents

Please note that on 14 June 2026, there will be a planned power supply interruption from 08:00 to 16:00.

Essential preventative maintenance will be conducted on the 11 kV ring main units and transformers.

If the electricity has not been switched OFF up until 10am, consider the planned outage postponed.

The following streets, businesses, and establishments will be affected:

📍St' Andrew's College
📍Kenrich Substation (Eskom building in High Street)
📍Telkom building in Huntley Street

Please treat all electrical sockets as live during this period as electricity may be restored before 16h00.

Saturday, 25th April saw All Secure donating their time and guarding personnel to keep an eye over the school kids of Ntsika Secondary School's Sports Festival. Thank you to Thando for reaching out to us, it was an absolute privilege to be a part of the day, and to support our community. And we wish all the learners a very well done!!

PUPDATE: Owner located!! Happy news all round when we managed to contact the owner who gratefully came to fetch their doggo. Who apparently sneaked away from home and took himself off on an adventure. Thank you to the Grahamstown community who spread this far and wide. A very good end to the day.
