The river ran right up against Melrose Arch, with an eroded bank and nothing holding it back. Today a concrete flood wall stands along that edge, so the next big storm stays in the channel.

NEW PROJECT | SANDSPRUIT RIVER FLOOD WALL - MELROSE

ICON Civil Engineering is proud to announce the commencement of a river flood wall construction project at Sandspruit, Melrose.
Our scope of work includes the construction of a flood protection wall designed to strengthen the riverbank, improve flood resilience, and help protect the surrounding infrastructure during periods of high water.

With our experienced team and modern fleet of plant and equipment on site, we are committed to delivering this project safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Progress is well underway on our bulk earthworks project in Midrand, with our team continuing to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality work on site.

Works completed and currently in progress include:

✔ Ongoing site preparation and earthmoving operations
