Chris Counsellor message for the day
In my decade of counselling clients there is always one common denominator, guilt and shame. It sticks like bubblegum to shoes. They suppress it and pretend that their no longer experience the affects of this side effect caused during their years of active addiction. If you don’t work through these effects with someone who’s been through it, it will cause you unnecessary trauma from relapse to suicidal ideation down the line.
Going back into your past, dangerous neighbourhood, as we call it the devil will trigger shame and guilt because that’s the only place he still exist and he is a sneaky clever monster who wants you to feel that shame and guilt, because he wants you back in order to throw you under the bus and finish you off until you tap out. Do not go there alone take someone like me with you to kick him to the curb and close the door so well that he will give up on you because the Lord will command to leave you alone because you’re wash in the blood of Jesus and he has no more power over you.
You were using mind altering substances and you weren’t able to make appropriate choices. Don’t let this joker control your life, make you feel guilty and ashame about things you did when he was trying to destroy. Learn how he operates and recognise his modus operandi. Your old selfwill give you warning signs and you will recognise your old self slipping back in your behaviour and internal conversations, you know what I’m talking about.
I’m here to walk with you in that dangerous neighbourhood and shut him up for good. It was a bad season and not a life sentence.
Much love to each and everyone of your warriors going through this battle.
Give me a WhatsApp on 0810219267 and let’s sort this joker out together.
Blessings!
Chris Counsellor
