The Navis 170 is our 17ft centre console and it is built right here in South Africa. That means no two are ever the same. You start with the base package and then you spec it exactly the way you fish, ski or cruise.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗥𝟰𝟮𝟱 𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝗬𝗢𝗨

Base price on the Navis 170 centre console is R425 000. That is a brand new package, not a demo and not a runout:

- Brand new Navis 170 centre console hull
- Brand new breakaway trailer
- Brand new 100hp Suzuki four-stroke
- Full Suzuki factory warranty
- Registered, licensed and water tested before you take delivery

From there the boat is yours to build.

This particular build is hands down one of our favourites we have ever done! The client knew exactly what he wanted and went the whole way with it.

Here is what he specced:

• 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟰𝟬𝗵𝗽 𝗦𝘂𝘇𝘂𝗸𝗶 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿-𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲, 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗿𝗲. Massive difference. The electronic throttle and shift is smooth as anything, no cables, no notchy gear changes, just fingertip control. Hole shot on this boat with the 140 is something else.
• 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁. Protects the transom and the hydraulics every time you tow. Cheap insurance and it should honestly be on every boat.
• 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗿. Getting back in after a swim, or after you have gone over the side to sort out a snag, makes life so much easier.
• 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼. Music on the water, straight off the phone.
• 𝗟𝗼𝘄𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗣𝗦 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁. A really nice one. Chart, sounder, waypoints, structure. If you are fishing dams or working structure this is the piece of kit that changes your day.
• 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁. Quiet approach and proper boat control when you are on the fish. The quick release means you pull it off in seconds when you do not need it, and there is no permanent bracket sitting in the way.
• 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗸. Clean, flat, elevated platform up front. Room to work a rod properly and stay balanced while you do it.

This boat honestly turned out stunning! It is a proper all rounder. Comfortable enough for the family on a Sunday, serious enough to fish off on a Saturday morning, and small enough that one person can hook up, tow and launch it without any drama.

There’s always something lekker about seeing all the boats lined up and heading out together, especially when you know they’re going to be part of a massive weekend filled with 4x4s, outdoor gear, motorsport, camping, toys and, of course, plenty of boats.
