This Father’s Day, we’re celebrating two men who helped shape the story of Kay & Monty.

Our namesake, Monty, and his son Chick, whose vision, passion and love for this land laid the foundations for what Kay & Monty is today.

To mark the occasion, we’re serving a special Father’s Day lunch for R360 per person:

• Tomato soup starter
• The Monty Board: 300g sliced sirloin topped with chimichurri and crispy onions, served with sweet potato crisps and rocket & pecorino salad
• A glass of The Chick

Whether you’re raising a glass to your dad, grandfather, mentor, or simply spending time with family, we’d love to welcome you.

Counting down to winter school holidays (that are exactly 23 days long)?

Pack up the kids, the grandparents or your favourite travel crew and head to the Garden Route. Plettenberg Bay is built for slowing down, but having tons of fun. Our Family Explore Package at Country House at Kay & Monty gives you the ultimate basecamp to do exactly that.

Happy Chardonnay Day to all who celebrate! 🥂

Our 2018 Champu is an unwooded Chardonnay Blanc de Blanc, made in the traditional French Méthode Cap Classique and matured on the lees for 60 months before its release in December 2024. Elegant, layered and beautifully expressive.

Roberto Chardonnay brings poached pear and apple crumble on the nose, followed by notes of white pear, savoury undertones and a lingering apricot finish. An easy-drinking wine made for long lunches and unhurried afternoons.

Our 2021 “Sav” is the Sauvignon Blanc for people who think they don’t like Sauvignon Blanc. Because we aged it for three years before release, the typical “sharpness” has softened into a smooth, zesty masterpiece 🥂

The Details:
• Nose: White pear, apricot & savoury undertones.
• Taste: Zesty grapefruit, lime & rounded acidity.
• Award: Gold – Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge 2025.

Kay & Monty Vineyards is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00 to 16:00. Booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
