Home to South Africa’s 5⭐️Platters, Platinum Michelangelo 2025, IWSC 95 2024, top aged Cap Classique Amorim Challenge 2024, 2023 & 2022. We planted vineyards of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. We made wines, MCC and a life, that we love. Newstead will never feel commercial but it will always be exceptional. Since the first harvest a few yea

rs ago, its wines have won awards (including top scoring Cap Classique at Amorim Cap Classique Challenge, International Wine & Spirit award Gold, Michelangelo double golds, Platters 5 star & Platinum 96) and elevated the region’s winemaking credentials, while picnics in the vineyards, polo, summer solstice parties and bespoke events have attracted visitors and groups from out of town and country.
