Sunday thoughts from the Plett traffic department… aka pure chaos with ocean views. 🌊🚗
Driving in Plett is basically a social experiment.
One oke stops in the middle of a circle to “just quickly let someone in.”
Another enters the roundabout at full confidence and zero indication.
And somehow there’s always a tourist braking to photograph a dassie like it’s the Big 5. 🦡
Meanwhile locals are out here playing:
“Will they indicate?”
“Whose turn actually is it?”
“Why is there a Hilux parked half on the pavement?”
And yet… somehow… against all odds… we survive. Barely.
Pro tip:
If someone gives you a polite wave in traffic in Plett, that’s not just manners. That’s a legally binding friendship.
