We're in the thick of some serious additions and alterations to this once thatched home in St Francis Bay, and there's plenty happening on site as we work towards its transformation! 🔨🏗️
One of the biggest changes is the replacement of the original thatch with a new shingle roof, while retaining the existing gum pole structure, a beautiful feature that will continue to form part of the home's character.
But before the new elements can take shape, there's plenty of work to be done!
Our team has been busy with selective demolition, carefully removing sections of the existing structure to accommodate the alterations. Remedial brickwork is also underway, preparing for the installation of new doors and windows.
And while the bigger changes are exciting to watch, we also love documenting the smaller moments in between. The guys on the tools, the brickwork taking shape, the dust, the rubble and all the hands-on work that goes into making a project like this happen.
Because these are the moments that tell the story of a build, and the people behind it! 💪
