Big things have been happening in Rosslyn!

Over the past two months, the RID has been hard at work, quietly driving real, visible change across the area.

From cleaner streets and repaired infrastructure to improved safety and exciting new developments… the impact is there if you know where to look 👇

- Ongoing urban maintenance and clean-ups
- Water, sewage and road repairs across key areas
- Upgrades to critical power infrastructure
- Increased safety patrols and enforcement
- New healthcare services now available in Rosslyn
- Progress towards a more sustainable, business-friendly environment

This is just the beginning.

The Capital City Business Chamber (CCBC) and West Improvement District (WID) organized a meeting at the Apies River Flower Street bridge as part of looking at setting-up an Apies River clean-up campaign. The meeting was attended by the Cot Region 3 Officials plus attendees from the CoT Nature Reserve, inclusive of representatives from CCBSA (Coca Cola SA); Pretoria Protein Company (PPC) and Aaptwak.

The West Improvement District (WID) together with City of Tshwane | Official (Page) Regional Chair as well as SAPS, TMPD, Gauteng Department Community Safety and Business Leadership held the first meeting to discuss the establishment of the Pretoria West Security Cluster, at the TMPD Pretoria Headquarters, on Thursday 23 October 2025.

The Focus of the Pretoria West Security Cluster will be:
- Strategy for collaboration on all Security Matters
- Effective protection of Infrastructure (Substations; Cable hotspots; Pylons)

We are preparing for the rainy season ensuring roads are filled and drains are open! 👊
