HIKING TRAIL
The Jason’s Hill Hiking Trail starts behind the cellar and takes hikers into the magnificent Slanghoek mountains wi

th an unspoiled view of the breathtaking vineyard covered valley. The 6.5km route takes three to four hours to complete and offers sufficient resting spots and fresh water. Please note:
All hikers are to register and sign an indemnity form at the Tasting room or Bistro before starting their hike. No hikers will be allowed to start the trail after 1pm. For safety reasons a minimum of two persons are allowed. Children younger than 16 years must be accompanied by their parents. Closed on Sundays

Take a piece of the countryside with you! The charming little shop, built from natural stone, delights guests with everything handmade, home-baked or simply splendid. Whether you are searching for a gift, adding to your own home, or simply browsing, you won’t leave empty handed! Mondays to Fridays: 8:00 to 17:00

This unforgettable winter covered our mountains in a blanket of snow, creating a scene our family will never forget.

While snow is beautiful, what we truly hope for each winter is cold weather paired with generous rainfall. The cold allows our vineyards to slow down, rest and prepare for another season—much like we all need time to pause and recharge.

Long before Jason's Hill became what it is today, these three loyal team members were already here.

They were there when the very first grapes were harvested. They stood by us through the long days, the early mornings, and the challenging seasons. They took pride in their work and were people you could always rely on.

It's people like them who don't just keep a farm running—they make it feel like home.

❤️ Behind every dream are the people who believed in it first.

This is Ivy's mom and dad, photographed at the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the Jason's Hill story.

It was during this time that they began building the cellar—a dream that was rooted in faith, hard work and a love for the land.

What started as a vision shared by a family has grown into Jason's Hill as we know it today, but none of it would have been possible without the courage to take that very first step.

Looking back, we're reminded that every great legacy begins with people who dare to dream.
