A fully loaded chocolate cake from the House of Jack Rabbit cabinet, sitting there minding its own business and ruining everyone’s afternoon productivity.

There’s an incredible level of intricacy behind this dessert. Our pressed apple terrene is delicate, precise and quietly complex. Layers of finely pressed apple paired with miso caramel, milk ice cream and pretzel crumb.

Word’s spreading about Mussel Mondays return at House of Jack Rabbit. A few weeks in and Mondays are quickly becoming a regular thing around here. Locals rolling in for a bowl of mussels and our $19 price freeze.

This Monday 25th May is Portarlington Mussels with saffron, herbed cream sauce and chilli hair.

Simple formula really.
Good mussels. Good wine. Monday suddenly looking much better.
