Geelong Cup Day plans? We're open on Wednesday 21 October at both Jack Rabbit Restaurant and House of Jack Rabbit.

Please note, heads up for race season, Geelong Cup Day is a public holiday here in Greater Geelong, so a 20% surcharge applies. Melbourne Cup Day is business as usual for us, with no surcharge.

Fair warning: this sirloin may ruin every other steak for you. Oishi Wagyu, with potato parve, truffled mayo, edamame, asparagus, carrot and a demi-glace made with our own Scarborough Cabernet Shiraz. A glass on the side just makes sense.

Too late for lunch. Too early for dinner. Just right for The In-Between.
Every Saturday from 4 to 6pm, Jack Rabbit Restaurant serves a menu of small plates made for a late afternoon drink: fresh oysters, baked haloumi with goji berry and lavender, slow cooked Wagyu bites with crusty bread, and rosemary and garlic frites. Bookings are recommended, but walk ins are welcome.

If you like to start light, start here. Cured Australian kingfish sits in a smoked carrot consommé that takes the kitchen far longer than you'd guess, with makrut lime oil, white miso and carrot cream, finger lime, and shiso from Maddens Lane.
Lunch runs Wednesday to Sunday for now. From Monday 2 November, it's every day.
