I will admit I grow tired of people coming to us with things like criminal fraud, telling me the police said it was a civil matter. Apparently the police are poorly educated, now, on so many things! If someone induces you to deliver, gains a benefit, or causes you detriment, and the benefit is to them, or another on their behalf, through dishonestly, or holding themselves out as something they are not, then it is FRAUD (Criminal Code 408C).

Google is nuts.
We own the trading name "Brisbane Private Investigator", we don't own the email address Brisbane private investigator, we own [email protected], and use that.
Now, given we actually the name, registered with the ASIC, and have all rights to use that name in Australia, for business, you would think Google would let use it on business.google.com wouldn't you!
Apparently Google is more powerful than the Australian Government, more knowledgeable than ASIC, and have decided to STOP us using the trading name WE OWN.
We are blocked.
Arbitrary controls which PREVENT us marketing, using our own trading name.
Got to love American (through Ireland) domination/control of the web, don't you! Just another dictatorship.

Is it just me, or are there more criminals around, hiding in plain sight, than their used to be.
Me, I blame the Privacy Act (Bob Hawke, Labor Government) for helping hide them (so, therefore, it's the politicians fault), every scammer, thief, and dodgy handyman is hidden by the Privacy Act; to think, 40 years ago we all had our name and address listed in the phone book, and people weren't scared to tell you information.
I also blame us signing the UN rights of the child (aimed at child soldiers - even seen child soldiers in Australia?), and yes, it was Gareth Evans, Labor Party, who signed us up to that disaster; it promoted the rights of the child, over the rights of society (especially the child criminal who must be protected, and not identified).
So, when you hear politicians talking about 'tough on crime' and fixing things, remember, they created the disaster, so it had to be fixed!

I get so frustrated talking to people, who are so frustrated in their dealings with Police!
We are limited in what we can do. We cannot force the Police to act. We cannot do anything bout the Police failing to act. I know we are now in the ridiculous position of 'under age' criminals acting with total impunity, and immunity from consequence for actions. It is hard to remember that this is a small fraction of kids, who have such a huge impact, who cannot be legally identified, pursued, punished, or disciplined.
I know that many Police do not want to engage with the community, to actually investigate problems, crimes; they are computer worshippers, in a world where everyone's head is bent down watching a little screen.
I feel the anger at the Police not investigating, where a driver wreaks carnage on a line of cars, but no-one puts their hands up as hurt, so the driver that caused the destruction walks away.
We have been abandoned, sorry.

Well, we are entering a "new' COVID19 world, with injections. It seems more of a slow grind, than a leap back to "normal". We are fortunate that our work has continued. People still need to know, still need evidence, proof, to confirm or deny a suspicion, to verify facts.

The virus has reared its ugly head in Sydney; fortunately, at the moment, it hasn't created problems for us in Brisbane. We are operating as per normal.
We should all be thankful that Australians actually listen to scientists, and are more concerned about looking after each other, than standing on 'rights' (except for the lunatic fringe).
We should also be thankful that some have/are enduring lockdowns, to restrict the spread of this virus.
