🌿 A Quick Update from Capital Kava 🌿

We want to keep our customers in the loop about recent supply challenges — and the good news that's coming out of them.

Over the past three weeks, unfavourable weather across Vanuatu has slowed down harvesting and drying, and interisland shipping has been suspended due to rough conditions. Combined with broader supply shortages across Vanuatu, this has made it difficult to maintain our usual stock levels.

The good news: We have been hard at work behind the scenes, putting two new strategies in place to secure supply both in the short term and into the future:

We're pleased to let you know that Capital Kava will be restocked in Australia and back up and running by September 25.

Happy Vanuatu Independence Day! 🇻🇺

The kava bar will only be open for Friday 31 July this week.

Open times for Friday 31 July are from 4pm to 8pm at Bowen Park.

We will have Borongoru with Kava Juice and Powder both available for purchase.

Please note this will be the last time the bar will be open for 4 weeks as the Capital Kava team will be taking time to visit our family in Vanuatu in August.

We apologise for the inconvenience!

Please join us to lift up a shell for Independence Day and buy some powder to get you through until we return.

A huge thank you to Prime Minister Jotham Napat for coming down and meeting with the Vanuatu community during his time in Canberra.

We are a small, but close community and we each work hard in creating a piece of home here in Canberra. We are grateful for having him come and spend time with us, share our pride as Ni-Vanuatu in Australia and lift up a shell with your delegation.

Tankyu tumas PM and we hope you enjoyed your time here in Canberra.

For those of us that are still in Canberra, the Kava Bar will be open again this Thursday (2 July) and Friday (3 July) from 4 to 8pm at Bowen Park.

As usual both kava powder and kava juice will be available.
