We are looking for a Junior Technical Business Analyst to support the NT Governmentโs Education Management Transformation Program (EMTP)โa multi-year digital transformation initiative focused on uplifting the NT Department of Educationโs ICT environment.
This role is ideal for someone with developing business analysis capability, strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and an interest in supporting systems implementation, data, reporting, integration, configuration, and testing activities within a complex ICT project environment.

โ Contract Duration: 12-month fixed-term contract
โ Experience supporting business analysis, requirements documentation, stakeholder engagement, and ICT project delivery
๐ ๐ช๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ฌ๐ผ๐โ๐น๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ
โ Support workshops, interviews, and stakeholder discussions by preparing materials, capturing notes, and documenting business and technical requirements
โ Assist with gathering and analysing business needs, data requirements, process flows, and solution options
โ Prepare draft business and technical documentation, including requirements registers, process maps, data mapping notes, reporting requirements, and configuration support materials
โ Document requirements related to information management, reporting, data migration, system integration, and configuration activities
โ Support walkthroughs and review sessions by recording feedback, updating documentation, and tracking follow-up actions
โ Work with project stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to clarify requirements, confirm assumptions, and escalate issues or dependencies
โ Contribute to development, process, integration, and testing activities by maintaining documentation and supporting issue investigation

โ Demonstrated ability to support business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and action tracking
โ Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to organise information clearly
โ Exposure to ICT projects, systems implementation, system replacement, or digital transformation environments
โ Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, technical staff, subject matter experts, vendors, and business stakeholders
โ Basic understanding of data, reporting, interfaces, system configuration, and the interaction between business processes and ICT systems
โ Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and the ability to learn project, requirements, testing, and collaboration tools quickly
โ Ability to support design, build, test, implementation, and transition-to-business-as-usual activities
