Burn baby burn is a great soundtrack from the past...not great when the Flammable 5 meet the waste sector. We recently launched a campaign to let all Tasmanians know how dangerous batteries, gas bottles, rechargeable electronic waste, flares and vapes are in wheelie bins, waste transfer stations and landfills. Help us stay safe and avoid the burn.

25 entries to inspire you and challenge what is waste. Old textiles, drink containers, trading cards, workshop supplies and detritus all found new lives in pieces of beauty! Congratulation to the artists and the team at Working Art Space for making this exhibition possible! And in the other gallery space there are mermaids and mermen and friends as well as Tasmanian Icons!!

Last week we got to chat with our neighbours at Railton, thanks to the Kentish Council Community Information night. Working with our community is a key part of what we do. Thursday this week we partnered with Ulverstone Neighbourhood House to support a swap and share of unused things and clean up for those unable to get to the local Waste Transfer Station. Great to work with Simon, Kat and the team! While we rarely take a breath, pushing on to the next project, Cathy snuck in a little sit! Be like Cathy - take time to smell the roses!
