On Saturday night we had the privilege of being one of the major sponsors of this year’s KENEx awards.

KENEx is the night to recognise, promote and celebrate the service, skills, knowledge and expertise of outstanding staff members within public education, and those who go ‘above and beyond’ to ensure the children within our region are engaged and motivated to attend school and provided with well-targeted, challenging learning opportunities. Our students are the future of Karratha and its surrounds. The Karratha Education Network includes all public primary and secondary schools located within Karratha, and extends to Wickham, Dampier, Roebourne, Onslow and Pannawonica.

We would like to make an extra special mention to Jade Douglas from Tambrey Primary School who took out the Pirtek award for most outstanding aboriginal educator! 🙌🙌
