Our very own, Mark discusses new product, 'Maritime' & Plant Stress 🥒 :

"I was investigating cracking and curling in young cucumber fruit. Sap analysis showed the problem wasn’t simply a calcium deficiency, but reduced calcium movement caused by plant stress.

After discussing the results with the technical team at Loveland Agri Products we developed a program combining foliar calcium with 'Maritime' our new seaweed bio-stimulant.

One thing that really caught my attention was Maritime’s low electrical conductivity (EC). Compared with many other seaweed products, it adds very little salt to the system, which makes good agronomic sense when crops are already under environmental or salinity stress.

It’s always rewarding when crop observations, testing and technical support come together to help solve a problem. Every crop teaches you something new." 👏 👏 👏
