Farmhand position available on a progressive Merino breeding and lamb finishing operation in South Riverina, NSW.

This is a hands-on role for someone with around two years of practical farm experience who genuinely enjoys working with sheep. The work spans general husbandry, stock movements and yard work, feeding and monitoring, drenching and vaccinations, through to lamb finishing and flock management. There's also fencing, watering systems, basic welding, spot spraying and general property maintenance, plus tractor work across seeding, spreading and spraying. Varied days, and plenty of scope to build skills across livestock, cropping and machinery.

The right person is honest, dependable and happy working on their own or alongside the team. A current driver's licence is required, along with previous sheep handling experience and real care for the stock.

On-farm cottage accommodation is available as part of the position, and wages will be negotiated based on experience and ability. For someone keen to take on more responsibility over time, there's a clear path to grow into the role.

A family owned dryland cropping and cattle operation at Rankins Springs is looking for a reliable, hands on Farm Hand to join the team. This is a varied role across the full cropping cycle, from ground preparation and seeding through to spraying, harvest and grain handling, with cattle work including mustering, yard work and general husbandry alongside it. You will be operating and maintaining modern machinery, keeping on top of daily checks and servicing, and pitching in on the general farm maintenance that keeps everything running.

Previous broadacre cropping and cattle experience is preferred, along with sound mechanical ability, a current driver's licence and the confidence to work safely with minimal supervision. Chemical accreditation and machinery licences are a bonus rather than a must.

Based around 30 minutes from Griffith, the operation runs across irrigated and dryland cropping on two Riverina farms, with further country in central Victoria. The successful applicant will work the full seasonal cycle, from crop management and irrigation through to spraying and harvest, operating and maintaining a fleet of modern machinery alongside a small, dedicated team.
