2027 ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE INTAKE — 2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE

CMH Electrical Industries is taking applications for two electrical apprentices to join our Ipswich-based team in 2027.

We encourage school leavers, mature-age applicants and qualified refrigeration technicians wanting to become dual trade to apply.

We’re a family-owned business working across industrial, commercial and residential electrical. You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople, learn on the job and gain experience across a variety of projects.

We’re looking for people who are reliable, keen to learn and take pride in their work. A good attitude and commitment to working safely are essential.

🎄🎅 CMH CHRISTMAS PARTY WEEKEND 2026! 🏝️🍻

WOW! What a weekend! 🍻☀️

Where do we even start… From dolphin feeding 🐬 to snorkelling and swimming 🤿, quad bike adventures, soccer games, fishing 🎣 and even a few competitive games of street fighter and UNO at 1am! 😂

What a way to celebrate another massive year at CMH Electrical Industries!

The memories made with our team and their families over the weekend are ones we’ll treasure for a lifetime.

This weekend was just a small token of our appreciation for the hard work, long hours, dedication and effort everyone puts into CMH throughout the year. Without our amazing team, we wouldn’t be where we are today.

As a family-owned business, there’s nothing better than seeing everyone come together, have a laugh, enjoy themselves and make memories outside of work.

PROJECT COMPLETION | HEALTHCARE & COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL 🏥

Another successful commercial project delivered by CMH Electrical Industries!

Our team recently completed the full electrical and communications package for a new medical centre, delivering a specialised installation to meet the stringent requirements of a healthcare environment.

Unlike standard commercial installations, medical facilities require additional consideration around electrical safety, patient protection, reliability and compliance with relevant Australian Standards, including AS/NZS 3003 – Electrical Installations in Patient Areas, where applicable.

⚡ HEAVY-DUTY LV TERMINATIONS | CMH ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES ⚡

Our electricians completed the termination of 6 x 400mm² LV cables per phase onto a transformer as part of one of our assisted projects.

🔹 Cable positioning & manipulation
🔹 Gland plate set-out and preparation
🔹 Glanding and cable support
🔹 400mm² lug crimping and preparation
🔹 Transformer terminations
🔹 Phase identification and labelling
🔹 Final torqueing, testing and QA checks

When you’re dealing with cable of this size, planning, workmanship and attention to detail matter. Correct cable manipulation, gland positioning and termination preparation are critical to achieving a safe, reliable installation without placing unnecessary mechanical stress on the transformer terminals.

Another example of CMH’s capability to deliver large industrial electrical installations and LV distribution works across Queensland.

⚡ PROPERTY POLE & PRIVATE ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADES ⚡

Another couple of recent jobs completed by the CMH Electrical Industries team, replacing defective property poles and upgrading private electrical infrastructure.

Our team can manage these works from start to finish, including:

🔹 Replacement of defective property poles
🔹 Replacement and installation of pole crossarms
🔹 Overhead aerial mains and submains
🔹 Underground submains cabling
🔹 Switchboard and point-of-attachment works
🔹 Testing, compliance and commissioning
