Terminus is taking shape - and if you want to be a part of it, now’s the time to put your hand up!

Things are moving quickly behind the scenes. We’re deep into logistics, the lineup is coming together, crew is being assembled and work has already started out on site getting everything ready for NYE.

We’re reaching the point where a lot of the pieces are starting to fall into place, so if you’ve been thinking about getting involved with Terminus in any capacity, now is the time to let us know!

A quick ticket update as well, we launched our cheapest access tickets around two weeks ago, and that allocation will soon be exhausted. Once they’re gone, all further tickets will be $150.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s already grabbed a ticket and shown their support early. It genuinely helps us get things moving and gives us more confidence to keep building this event into what we know it can be.

Decor, installations, workshops, performers, photographers, vendors, production, site crew, volunteers, creative projects, weird ideas or anything else you think could add something to Terminus; we’d love to hear from you!

For artists wanting to play Terminus, music applications are still open separately through our application form, with the lineup being locked in soon.

We’re also specifically looking for a food vendor for this year! If you run one, know someone who might be interested, or have any ideas or leads for us, we’d love to have a chat.

🎟️ TICKETS ARE LIVE 🎟️

Alongside opening ticket sales, we wanted to take a moment to explain the change in ticket pricing this year.

For the past two years, we've done everything we could to keep our NYE events at a flat $100 entry, and we're incredibly proud that we managed to hold onto that price for as long as we did.

The reality is that, at $100 a ticket, we've needed to sell around 95% of our total capacity each year just to cover the cost of running the event. That left almost no room for error, and also meant there was never any real opportunity to build towards the future of Dreamstate, our events, or the properties that make them possible.

Looking back, the fact we've managed to do that two years in a row is something we're incredibly grateful for, but it's not something we can realistically rely on year after year, especially as the cost of running events continues to rise.

As much as we wanted to keep Terminus a $100 event, we've reached the point where it simply isn't sustainable anymore.

This year, our standard ticket price will be $150.

This change gives us the opportunity to build something that's sustainable for the long term, rather than relying on near-perfect ticket sales every single year just to cover the cost of running the event.

It also means we can start putting more back into the event itself. Rather than simply covering costs each year, we'll have the opportunity to gradually invest in bigger artists, improved production, more décor, and expanding different areas of the site. Our goal has always been to make Terminus better each year, and this gives us the ability to keep moving in that direction.

That said, we also know many people have come to know our NYE celebrations as $100 events, and we've always wanted to keep them as accessible as possible for our community.

That's why we've released a limited allocation of $100 Early Bird tickets. They're available now in limited numbers and for a limited time. Once they're gone, all remaining tickets will be available at the standard $150.

Terminus returns.

A meeting point. A destination. A celebration.

🎉 31 December – 1 January

We're excited to announce the return of Terminus, our annual invite-only New Year's bush gathering, bringing together music lovers from across the Northern Rivers and beyond to welcome in the new year with music, camping and community.

With a single stage, a genre-spanning line-up of artists, and everyone sharing the same dancefloor from New Year's Eve through to New Year's Day, Terminus is about discovering music, reconnecting with friends, and celebrating the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

As always, Terminus is invite only. We intentionally keep the event intimate to preserve the atmosphere that makes it special.

What started as an old truck turning circle on an abandoned logging trail has slowly transformed into a space that can host a few hundred like-minded people - where we dance, create, connect, and make a lot of noise 😉

Terminus - and events like this - can only happen because of an unreal crew of builders, artists, techs, vollies, friends and family who show up and put in the work. Endless appreciation and love to everyone who gave their time, energy and care to make this space and event what it became 💜

Special shoutouts to some of the crews who helped bring it together:

Building & supporting platforms where creatives from Australia and the world can showcase their crafts. That’s what Dreamstate is about.

Happy New Year everyone 💜

We’re finally home, unpacked, and (mostly) decompressed after bringing Terminus to life for NYE.

What we created together blew us away. It was a huge effort from everyone involved, and we’re so grateful to all who helped make it happen - and to everyone who came out and supported the event.

Terminus was a long time in the making. After multiple postponements and nearly a year of adapting plans around weather, sites, and logistics, seeing it finally happen - and land the way it did meant everything.

Most importantly, the night itself was something special.

For us it was one of the fullest, most energetic dancefloors we’ve had the pleasure of hosting. It felt like we blinked and the clearing was suddenly alive - full of movement, smiles, and connection. The energy you brought filled the space and gave new life to a tired crew.

Seeing the lights come on, feeling the bass roll through, and hearing the cheers of friends having fun made all the work worth it. Sharing the countdown into 2026 together was powerful, and locked in that quiet “we did it” feeling.

Fittingly, Terminus is a Latin word meaning “boundary,” “limit,” or “end” - and after everything it took to get there, ending the year on that dancefloor felt exactly where it was meant to land.

At its core, Terminus was built by a small group of close friends, supported by an incredible wider community. It reminded us that when good vibes, mateship, and a shared love for music and each other sit at the centre, everything else falls into place.

To everyone who attended - thank you. You were a pleasure to host. Campsites were left spotless, and the care you showed for each other and the space didn’t go unnoticed.

We’re still unwinding and finishing up the last Terminus errands, but this is only the beginning. More footage, thankyou's and future plans will be coming soon, we’re already thinking about what’s next.

We want to keep building these kinds of spaces with the community - so if you have thoughts or ideas about what you’d love to see moving forward, we’d love to hear from you.

Terminus… what a way to end the year.

We’re exhausted in the best way and overflowing with gratitude, thank you to everyone who came and made it a sold out success and to all the crew who helped bring it to life, massive love to you all.

Quick update — sadly due to personal reasons Waldkind has had to withdraw from this event. Much love and we hope something lines up together in the future 🤍
