Essendon, Victoria | Floor Removal. 👷‍♂️💥

Existing floors have to come up cleanly before any new flooring or fit-out can start. Whatever is left behind becomes the next trade's problem.

On this Essendon job, floor removal and waste disposal ran side by side, so the floor came up without debris piling up across the site.

That leaves the builder a cleared slab ready for the flooring and fit-out trades, not a backlog of old floor to deal with first.

Knowing Where the Waste Goes. 👷‍♂️💚

The waste leaving a site is part of the scope, not an afterthought. On commercial and insurance works, builders need to know it's been handled properly once it's out the gate.

Recycling is prioritised from the start of the works. Waste is tracked throughout, materials are diverted from landfill where possible, and anything being retained on site stays protected while the rest comes out.

Taking Walls Back to the Frame. 👷‍♂️💥

Plaster and wall linings come out on most strip-outs. How they come out decides what the next trade walks into.

Linings are cut and removed in controlled sections with full PPE on, taking each wall back to its frame while protecting the structure behind it.

For the builder, that means an open frame you can inspect and plan from, rather than a next stage that starts by working around old linings.

Built in 1889, Station Terrace is entering its next chapter.

Our team is on site carrying out the renovation strip-out for Ahead Building, carefully removing existing elements while setting the property up for what comes next.

With the front set to be restored and the rear extended for new living spaces and a terrace, it's a great example of old character making way for a new chapter.
