Your extensions don’t just need a good install… your home maintenance is SO important when it comes to how long they last 🤍

One thing I always explain to my clients is that your extensions aren’t attached to your scalp, so they’re not getting the natural oils your own hair gets.

That means they need more hydration and more love than your natural hair.

A few things that make SUCH a difference:

🤍 Keep your hair hydrated with the right extension-safe products
🤍 Don’t twist, rub or rough up your hair when tying it up, washing or drying
🤍 Use a shower filter to help remove chlorine, minerals and nasties from your water that can dry the hair out and cause discolouration
🤍 Brush your hair properly and regularly, especially before bed

The BIGGEST misconception I hear about Keratin Bonds… is that they’re glue. 🤯

And honestly, this is one of the biggest reasons people are still so hesitant to explore Keratin Bonds.

I’ve even had salons that specialise in other extension methods tell clients that Keratin Bonds are “glue bonds” — and they’re simply not.

When you specialise in Keratin Bonds, the quality of your keratin matters.

In my salon, I use 100% pure Italian keratin. It’s been vetted for its purity and is the adhesive I trust to securely bond the extension to the natural hair.
