Our team recently travelled to Yeppoon for the pre-start meeting for the next phase of improvement works to the kitchen at the BlueCare Capricorn Aged Care Facility.
Having previously supported the upgrades required to transition from a cook-chill to a cook-fresh service model, we are pleased to continue our involvement by expanding the kitchen footprint. This expansion will restore much-needed dry-storage capacity that was displaced by the necessary cooking upgrades and workflow improvements.
While residents may not see these behind-the-scenes improvements directly, they will benefit from the support they provide to the dedicated staff who work each day to deliver a positive dining experience for everyone who calls BlueCare home.
We’re proud to continue supporting little-big projects such as this, that bolster the quality of care and service for established aged care communities.

Managing existing facilities often means balancing immediate maintenance needs, compliance requirements, operational priorities and longer-term investment.

Lead Consultants supports organisations to better understand their assets, identify renewal and improvement priorities, and develop practical capital works plans aligned with operational needs and available budgets.

By bringing asset condition, lifecycle considerations and organisational priorities together, clients can make more informed decisions about what to address now, what to plan for next and how to maintain facilities that remain safe, functional and fit for purpose.

From metro centres to regional and remote communities, Lead Consultants is supporting projects in every state across Australia. ✈️

Each project brings its own location, conditions, stakeholders and delivery challenges. Our role is to ensure those projects receive the same level of attention, oversight, and support wherever they are.

We stay closely connected to the work on the ground, including regular site attendance, so decisions are informed by the realities of each project and its local context.

Metro, regional or remote: our focus remains the same: helping projects move forward with greater control, clarity and confidence.

On the ground in North Queensland ☀️
Some project work takes us well beyond the meeting room.

Our team spent the morning supporting community engagement for one of our current projects.
Spending time on the ground provides valuable insights into the communities and environments we work in, helping us better understand the local context and support thoughtful project delivery.

A great morning to be out and about in North Queensland!

Delivering works across multiple sites depends on clear coordination of priorities, timelines, stakeholders, risks and reporting across the broader program.

Lead Consultants supports clients with the planning and oversight of multi-site and interconnected programs, helping maintain consistent governance, clear communication and coordinated delivery across each location.

The featured images show sites included in a rooftop solar program delivered for BaptistCare NSW, ACT & WA across multiple operational facilities. The program is a practical example of how individual site works can be coordinated within one consistent delivery framework while responding to the requirements of each location.

Through clear program-level oversight, organisations can manage complexity, identify shared risks and dependencies, and maintain focus on outcomes across the full portfolio.

Proud members of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC)

Women make up half of the Lead Consultants team, contributing across project delivery, leadership, operations, and business improvement.

We’re proud to be an organisational member of the Nawic Qld and to support its work in promoting greater inclusion, opportunity and representation across the construction industry.

For us, supporting women in construction is about recognising and celebrating the talented people who help shape our business, our projects, and our culture every day.

Good food, good conversations, and a chance to step away from our desks. ☀️

Our monthly BBQ lunch is a chance for the Gold Coast team to come together, catch up, and enjoy some well-earned downtime outside the office.

These relaxed catch-ups give us time to connect beyond day-to-day project work, share what has been happening across the team, and strengthen the relationships that shape our workplace culture.

A simple tradition that brings everyone together. And one we are already looking forward to continuing. 😉

From Bond graduate to industry leader.
Earlier this month, Lead Consultants’ Associate Director, Jordan Hanau, returned to Bond University as a panellist for BBESA’s The Industry Nobody Explains to Students event.

Jordan graduated from Bond in 2019 with a degree in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying. He joined fellow industry professionals to share insights into transitioning from university to the built environment sector, building a career and navigating the opportunities and challenges that come with the profession.
With around half of the Lead team made up of Bond alumni, the event had a strong connection to our own team. Our Assistant Project Manager, Priscilla Solano, was also invited to participate but was unable to attend due to interstate project commitments.

One of the highlights of the evening was the round-table discussions, where students had the opportunity to ask questions, hear real-world experiences and gain practical advice from graduates working across the industry.

At Lead Consultants, we’re passionate about supporting the next generation of project professionals and giving back to the industry that has shaped many careers across our team.
A huge thank you to 🟢 Bond BBESA 🟢 and Bond University Bond University for hosting such a valuable event.

Every project involves hundreds of decisions.
Design changes, procurement strategies, programme adjustments and construction risks can all influence project costs.

Our Quantity Surveying team provides cost planning, estimating, and commercial oversight throughout the project lifecycle, helping clients maintain budget visibility and understand the financial impact of key decisions.

Clear information. Informed decisions. Better project outcomes.

Recently, our team travelled from across our locations to spend the week together at our new Gold Coast head office.

With our team working across Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia, having everyone in one place gave us a valuable opportunity to work side by side, share updates, align priorities and strengthen the connections between our offices.
We also took the time to mark the end of the financial year and reflect on the progress made across the business over the past 12 months.

A productive week, and a good reminder of the value of bringing people together beyond the usual calls and project meetings.
