We had an incredible few days at Agfest Tasmania, one of the biggest field days in the country, and this year my daughter Camryn joined me at The Heart Foundation tent.

We carried out Healthy Heart Checks, cholesterol testing, and had plenty of great conversations with festival‑goers.

Agfest was buzzing — tractors, food stalls, Tassie makers, livestock, demos, and thousands of people moving through Quercus Park.

Thanks to everyone who swung past to say hi. Your hearts made our day.

MPs landed in Türkiye last month, attended the 110th anniversary of the Çanakkale Land Battles and Anzac Day ceremonies at the Martyrs' Memorial on the Gallipoli Peninsula, and made a series of contacts and visits. During the trip, which was attended by senators from Sydney and Melbourne, mutual friendships were strengthened and the delegation, which made a mini tour of Turkey, was amazed by our country.
