When Adrian’s gas hot water unit called it quits, he didn’t have to look far for a quality replacement — proudly made right here in Gippsland!

We quickly organised one of our energy-efficient NEO heat pump hot water systems, expertly installed by local plumber Greg. And with $$$-saving rebates included, Adrian was able to make the switch with even more reason to smile.

Proud to help a local community project that’s breathing new life into worker accommodation

We recently installed two energy saving hot water units for the newly re-furbished Zoe Flats, next to St Luke’s Uniting Church in Morwell.

Two heat pump hot water systems – one of our new NEO units, and one Reclaim Energy heat pump - both with our famous ‘Made in Morwell’ storage tanks.

Combined, they’ll be cheap to run and will save 13.6 tonnes of Greenhouse Gas emissions over 10 years compared with using gas hot water.
For this, the project received funding through the Uniting Church Victoria & Tasmania’s Emission Reduction Fund, in line their long-term goal of reducing our carbon footprint to net zero by 2040.

And Earthworker Energy was proud to subsidise the new units to support this affordable housing project, which aims to turn the precinct into a vibrant community hub, adding housing and social spaces to the existing Men’s Shed and op shop.

As St Luke’s secretary Anne Camier explains, “This is a project which is being achieved by and for our Morwell community,”

In the heart of Victoria’s power generation region, the flats were constructed 1976 as a hostel for apprentices.
We’re proud that 50 years later, energy-efficient hot water units manufactured just down the road – supporting local new energy jobs - are now helping a new generation of Latrobe Valley residents with affordable hot water.
