The Australian Department of Finance wants to hear from small businesses about their experience with Commonwealth procurement.

The survey is looking at how easy - or difficult - it is for suppliers to find, understand and respond to procurement opportunities, and where better guidance, resources or tools could help.

If your business has experience with Commonwealth procurement, TCCI encourages you to have your say.

The survey takes around **15–20 minutes** to complete and responses can be anonymous.

Your feedback will help inform improvements to the way businesses find and navigate Australian Government procurement opportunities.

TCCI encourages all eligible business owners and operators to enrol before the deadline.

Local government decisions directly affect Tasmania’s business operating environment - from rates, planning and development to parking, roads, signage, outdoor dining and regulation.

Eligible business owners, commercial property owners and business tenants may be entitled to vote in the council area where their business or property is located. However, enrolment is not automatic.

With councillors elected for the next four years, this is an important opportunity for eligible businesses to have a say in the decisions that affect them.

Applications close 10 September 2026.
