Adrian is one of our fabulous Trainers and Facilitators here at SCALA!

Adrian is a familiar face to many of our participants, bringing his knowledge, enthusiasm and practical approach to training sessions across Tasmania.

Whether he's providing one-on-one support, delivering business qualifications or facilitating hands-on training such as RSA, Adrian has a knack for connecting with people and making learning relevant, engaging and enjoyable. Steve spent last week on the Redlands Coast in Queensland, working with local business owners on what AI could do for their businesses 🎤

Sessions ran from North Stradbroke Island to IndigiScapes. Participants opened up ChatGPT and worked through ideas for their own businesses, and some even started building their own AI assistants.

One conversation has stayed with Steve. A small tourism operator came in carrying the pressure of running her business. As the session went on, she started to see how these tools could help her get ahead of the things weighing her down. Problems she’d been living with for a while began to look fixable. Building more professional systems and growing the business without working herself into burnout started to feel within reach.

Seeing that possibility open up for someone is a big part of why we love this work.

Thank you to everyone who came along and shared their challenges so openly. It’s been a pleasure spending time with the Redlands Coast business community 💛

Our southern Management Accelerator cohort is officially underway 🙌

Fifteen organisations in one room, and an energy you could feel from the doorway.

Workshop 1 was The Leadership Shift, led by Phil. The group looked at what leadership looks like in workplaces right now and where it’s heading. Then they turned the lens on themselves, working out their own leadership style and where they want to grow over the course of the program.

Hobart's 14 October group for the Not for Profit Management Accelerator is full ✨

Due to popular demand, we have opened a second Hobart group starting 8 December.

Managing in a NFP means leading staff and volunteers, reporting to a board and making every dollar of funding count, usually all in the same week. Over 12 months, the Accelerator works through four modules: communication, operational planning, time management with AI and wellbeing, and leading high performing teams. Each module has a 2 day workshop with coaching back at work between sessions. Your DISC Advanced Leadership Profile is included.
