What a fantastic meeting sensational BNI Sensation had yesterday. Three visitors, two international guests, one Area Director, one Ambassador and a full room of members (thanks to the two subs).
Notable Networker Awards were given out by our Area Director Pauline Spackman:
• Rachel Masterton of Billingsly Cleaning Services was awarded her award for the Most Referrals Given in October (14)
• Chaitanyaa Moer was awarded his award for the Most Thank You For Closed Business in the month of October ($4,202 invoiced by other BNI members thanks to the referrals Chaitanyaa referred on)
• Robert Yokhanna of Lincoln Industries was awarded his award for the Go-4-Green Evolution for the month of October (up 10 points from September)
There were some great 60 second referral requests, with the winner being Robert Yokhanna from Lincoln Industries with his very specific request for Strata Managers and Property Managers. If you are a Strata Mnager or a Property Manager, we would love to chat with you (our President, Sharon Capizzi would love to take your call – 0408 652 699)
Well done Robbie, you get to listen intently to everyone’s referral requests next week.
This week our President decided to change things up with the weekly feature presentation. Instead of highlighting one member’s business, we were treated to how five members can not only help each other (with referrals and closed business) but also help one client between them
Our Real Estate Agent, Courtney Nguyen from Liberty Property Centre presented a client who wanted to sell her home. Courtney suggested a brand new coat of paint to freshen up the look and recommended our Painter, Walead Abdelwahab from BrushedReno.
Wow the before and after photos really show just what a coat or two of paint can do to a room!
While Wally was painting, he noticed mould in the bathroom and laundry and recommended our Cleaner, Rachel Masterton from Billingsly Cleaning Services
Those before photos made a few of us go green, but the after photos were amazing
While Rachel was cleaning the mould, she noticed a couple of dodgy light fittings and recommended our Sparky, Robert Yokhanna from Lincoln Industries
While Robbie was fixing the light fittings, the client mentioned she was thinking of getting an electric car for her daughter and took Robbie out to the garage. While Robbie was quoting to install an EV charger, he noticed a broken taillight on the client’s car. He recommended our Mobile Mechanic, Damanvir Bhogal of Bhogal Auto.
Daman was able to get hold of the replacement tail light the next day and attended the home and replaced the taillight on the spot.
Courtney advised that with all the improvements to the home, the client gained an extra $50,000 on the sale of her home
And that people, is how BNI works
