Next step in the Raidis Estate Carbon Project.
We’re adding seeds throughout the vineyard to help build more organic matter, with the long-term goal of increasing carbon levels in our soils.
The challenge? Getting those seeds where they need to go after all the glorious winter rainfall!
Plan A: Hook the seeder up to a canoe.
Plan B: Bring in the big guns and send in the drone.
Safe to say, there’s never a dull day in the vineyard as we keep working towards healthier soils and a more sustainable vineyard.
The Carbon Pathways in Vineyard soils project is supported by the Australian Government through funding from the Natural Heritage Trust under the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program and delivered for the Limestone Coast Landscape Board, a member of the Commonwealth Regional Delivery Partners panel by Raidis Group Pty Ltd.
