We've been reminiscing about our events this week and how much we loved hosting them. For us it was always about watching everyone have a great time, our wines in hand, in a setting we'd put a lot of thought into.

Some of the memories are absolutely mad though.

If you know, you know.
A mini cyclone whipped through our event at the Old Laundry in Mount Gambier. Genuinely a bit frightening for a minute, and then the band went acoustic, and it turned into the best part of the night; everyone kept on partying.

A few others we still laugh about:

🍷 Mopping up enormous puddles at the Railway Lands before a Summer Fiesta. Such fun🙄

🍷 38 degrees and a howling north wind at Dunkeld in 2024. Everyone was very thirsty that day.

🍷 The races were called off at our Platinum Marquee one year. Nobody seemed to notice; they were having far too good a time.

🍷 Our first-ever pop-up. We planned for 200, and over 600 turned up. Underprepared is putting it kindly. We ended up raiding every bottle shop in town for more wine.

Christmas in July is Saturday 25th, if you're choosing to celebrate, here's the day sorted.

Fill the table with a refreshing Golden Orb Sparkling Shiraz, made for glazed ham, roast turkey, and picking at the crackling before lunch is served.

Then warm the insides with the main event, slow-roasted lamb shoulder or a rich beef roast with all the trimmings, and a glass or two of Ezra's Gift alongside. Smoke, plum and pepper spice, built for exactly this kind of plate.

Pudding might be your problem, but don't stress, the wine's covered.
