The group is for you, more than it is for me.

Over the past few months I have been blown away watching my community show up for each other. I could cry.

I’ve sat back and watched them;

Out for lunches to celebrate birthdays, staycations to create content, collaborations to promote each others services, BUYING each others products and services, sharing each others posts, commenting, liking, tagging.

Not because are them, because when you spend years building a community culture with pure intent - THIS is what happens.

Life long friendships have unfolded in front of me.

I am so proud of my community. And their loyalty to me! (THANK YOU).

My GOAL, is to for each and every member in the Mentor Acadmey to have the most clear, kick ass, detailed, and inspiring business PLAYBOOK fully drafted by the end of the year - so they can breeze through Christmas and start of 2027 winning.

I have spent all year on crafting custom business Playbooks and I’ve nailed it! There is nothing more satisfying than having clarity, vision and a sick plan to get you there.

It was about a year or 18 months into the pandemic when I sold my business after 14 years of great success. And the most important thing the new owner needed to know was this;

“When the Pandemic is over, do not compare future figures to Pandemic figures. Go back to BEFORE - that’s where the truth lies.”

Because for little old WA those were the golden years for most businesses and the growth was wildly unprecedented.

For the 12 years before I measured business growth by year on year percentages, and that’s where the truth lies.

When you’ve been in business as long as I have, you learn to foresee highs and lows and how to navigate them. You know that unprecedented highs will end and lows don’t last forever.

That’s why you have to be the right amount of crazy to live this life.

If you’re going to bully yourself with comparisons- just be sure it’s apples to apples.

This morning I saw a funny video online of a random “nobody” guy who had 3 of his mates pretend to be his body guards while he walked though shopping centres and he filmed the reactions of strangers.

Because he “looked” famous - people were stopping, staring and asking for selfies.

And THAT is how easily we can influence perception.

It was so well timed with today’s masterclass in my Mentor Academy on the psychology of selling with one of my favs Tenai (Renee with a T)

It was refreshing to have the opportunity for us all to use our brains and tap into our imaginations through the ancient art of thinking and communication (😂 no AI allowed).

There are so many ways we can create and market our businesses that connect - we just need to take the time to know who we’re connecting with and then we know HOW we can make an emotional connection with them.

Connection is literally everything when building a brand and honing that skill will never be wasted time. Connection is not going anywhere. Not ever. Not even if there’s a fire.

When you have unwavering connection with your customers and peers in business - that my friends, is what makes a successful.
