I know what you’re thinking.

This is amazing. 💪

And it is.

I’m flexing and I don’t care because I have wanted to do this for sooooo long and it’s finally here.

My; Business FIESTA! 💃

If you live in WA you will know this.

MOST conferences are held over East.
It costs us thousands to fly over and attend. (NOT bagging out conference fees, that s**t is expensive to run).
And MOST conferences ‘over East’ have the same speakers, often from this very state we live in.

So here is what I wanted to do.

I wanted to create a business event / conference - right here in Perth.
I wanted to SUBSIDISE the bulk of the expenses BECAUSE…… now wait for it……

You can ONLY come if you’re a client, past client OR if space permits, invited by either of those options.

AND so as a thank you to my people - the cost to attend is MINIMAL. Absolutely F**K ALL.

Does that mean it’s going to be run “cheap”.

F**K. NO.

And you will see.

The speakers and presenters??

MY PEOPLE.

Because I have the best people. I have true talent. Right here.

No marketing. Just a casual throw out.

My down South clients are travelling up, my up North clients are travelling down and I am even flying in my photographer client Lyn | Tweed Coast & Gold Coast Family & Newborn Photographer from the Gold Coast for snaps.

And bonus points having my lovely friends own the hotel The Swan Valley Hotel to accomodate my big vision.

No sponsors. No hustle. Just real talk.

It’s allowed to be easy.

I recently could feel my life was teetering on the edge of overwhelm and burnout so I chose to sit back and look at my choices. What could change?

I thought about the hustle and grind that comes with attracting new clients (at times) and I wondered if I had any wind left in my sails to do it “right now”, or should I let some things go for a while?

And then I decided; why not let the universe decide. If it happens easily - I’ll go with it.

Example; I run a small in person, p*er mentoring group called MHQ. It runs for 6 months and it’s for established Perth based female founders that crave connection, no BS conversations, support and fun.

It’s awesome, I love it, the retention rates are high, I usually send out invitations to join and it fills pretty easily.

But as this round ended, even throwing out invitations felt ‘hard’. So I put it out to the existing group to rejoin for 6 months. When the majority said “hell yes count me in” - it became a no brainer.

I am a HUGE believer that the universe will tap you on the shoulder and let you know when you’re onto something worth pursuing. When it’s REALLY meant to be, it happens easily.

We don’t get ‘easy’ often in business, so its a nice reminder that every now and then; “it’s allowed to be easy”.

Can you tell????

This is a recent snap from a shoot day for MHQ with my best gal Perth Branding Photographer at the super bougie LOCATION HIRE PERTH - PHOTO-FILM-MODEL and I’m wearing a brand new outfit from one of my fav boutiques HARRY & GRETEL which I purchased because my stunning MHQ gals gifted me a voucher there.

EVERY F**KING THING about that paragraph is amazing. It’s privilege, it’s love and it screams life is fu***ng good.

But it’s also a mask.

Because I wasn’t good. I was tired, exhausted, SAD in the way you feel it all the way into your bones. My anxiety felt like it could power a small city.

And lately - a lot of days are like that.

Don’t get me wrong - the funny you see here - that’s real! 😂😂 of course. I can’t fake that. Stand up comedy is most def my side piece. But it comes and goes.

My genuine love and gratitude for good humans - also real!

But I think we all need to know that behind the scenes, sometimes life can be really fu***ng hard. And for reasons that can’t be shared publicly and that’s not lacking authenticity- that’s reality.

It’s reason 60 billion that you can NEVER, and I repeat - NEVER compare yourself to anyone else nor can you assume what is going on for someone else.

And I am the luckiest woman on the fu***ng planet to be surrounded by a phenomenal community every damn day!
