Enviro's metropolitan civil construction team and track protection officers are in the final stages of rail formation construction and drainage works for Arc Infrastructure in Kewdale. This project will increase access and safety at the Kewdale Intermodal Terminal (IMT), providing Western Australia with additional logistical capacity and supply chain efficiency. Great work by both the civil and rail teams in some challenging conditions. Also, a big shout out to our mates, Pipeline Technics, for their ongoing support on utility realignment works.

Enviro's civil construction team have deployed to Leonora, supporting our valued clients Arc Infrastructure with bulk earthworks and drainage systems for the Leonora EOL terminal realignment project. Arc Infrastructure, Genesis Mining, and the WA Government have reached an agreement to shorten the Leonora Branch Line (LBL) and for Arc to invest in new open access rail facilities, paving the way for major mining expansion and economic growth in the Goldfields region.

Enviro are proud to be delivering these critical work scopes, with a huge shout out to our site teams who are running ahead of schedule. Watch this space for project updates as we work towards the commissioning deadlines.

Our civils team have made significant progress on the installation of a new retaining wall within the Public Transport Authority's rail reserve east of Success Hill train station; delivering a critical piece of infrastructure designed to stabilise the embankment, help manage stormwater runoff and provide additional protection against flooding for the neighbouring properties backing onto the rail reserve.

Working within a live rail environment required detailed planning, strict safety controls and close coordination with our internal Rail Safety Division, to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently while minimising disruption to rail operations.

While the retaining wall construction is nearing completion, the project is not quite finished. The next stage involves the installation of V drains behind the wall.

A great effort by the crew, supervisors and support teams who have contributed to the successful delivery of the works to date. We look forward to completing the final stage of the project and delivering a long-term solution for both the rail corridor and the surrounding community.

Enviro Infrastructure has recently completed a project for our valued client, Fremantle Ports, at the Kwinana Bulk Jetty.

The main carpark had been experiencing persistent flooding due to drainage issues. Enviro Infrastructure was engaged to deliver a comprehensive solution, including installation of new pit lids, a pump station and associated pipework connecting into the upgraded drainage system. Works also included profiling, asphalt surfacing, and line marking across the 1,200m² carpark.

The result is a durable, fully functional surface ready to withstand the elements—delivered just in time ahead of the winter rains.

After years of careful cultivation, our HSEQ Manager, Joe Nash long hair has finally peaked… and will now be retired on 8th May.

Joe is shaving it all off for the World’s Greatest Shave. Partly to raise money for blood cancer, partly because maintaining this much hair has become a full-time admin role he is not qualified for.

It’s been a good run - dramatic hair flicks, blocked drains, and spending more on conditioner than groceries. But it’s time to give something back (other than shedding hair everywhere he goes).

If you’d like to support a genuinely important cause - or just see what his head actually looks like underneath all this - feel free to donate, here; https://www.worldsgreatestshave.com/s/33181/35543 or here http://bit.ly/3QMS0FJ
