👀 Time for the reveal…

The boys were in Proserpine! 🚙📹

And yes, someone actually guessed it correctly. Apparently we have a few followers who have toured their fair share of pubs and have a very good memory. 😂🍻

Jeff, Rocco and Shaan were away helping with the installation of a camera system for a company in the area.

While Townsville is home, our team can travel outside the region. That means we’re able to support businesses in smaller regional towns that may not always have easy access to experienced telecommunications and security installation teams.

We love being able to take what we do on the road and help businesses across North Queensland get the systems they need.

👀 Following on from our “guess where the techs are” post…

One thing we can confirm, they’re definitely not in Townsville. 😏

That’s right, while Townsville is home, our team can also travel outside the Townsville area for installations and project work.

Jeff and Rocco have been busy getting the job done, and today our fearless leader Shaan has joined in on the fun too. 🔧😂

And judging by one of these photos, the boys may have also found somewhere to stop in afterwards. 🍻

🩷 Some very special news from the Townsville Internet team!

After the week we’ve had, it’s pretty wonderful to finish it with the best news of all.

Brock and his beautiful wife have welcomed a beautiful new addition to their family this week! 👶

We are absolutely over the moon for them and couldn’t be happier for the new parents.

🎉 GOOD NEWS! That NBN box may not have to stay there forever!

Got an NBN NTD sitting in an awkward spot, somewhere highly visible, or exactly where you don’t want it?

There are now more options available for Registered Cablers with the appropriate fibre qualifications to relocate eligible NBN fibre equipment within your property.

Which means we may be able to help you move that not-so-pretty white box somewhere a little more suitable. 👋📦

There are still NBN rules around what can be moved, where it can be moved and how the fibre must be installed, so every property needs to be assessed individually.

💡 But before you move the NTD…

If the real reason you want it moved is because you want your router or Wi-Fi equipment in a more central location, relocating the fibre NTD isn't always the best or most cost-effective solution.

Fibre cable and fibre relocation work can become expensive.

Depending on your home, we may instead be able to:

🔌 Run a data cable to a better location for your router
📶 Install an access point to improve Wi-Fi coverage
🛜 Design a better home network without relocating the NTD at all

Sometimes moving the NBN box makes sense.
