🧡A project that's close to my heart💙
Something I've been thinking about for a while is creating a dedicated page on the Mozzie Fire website where members of our community can share their bushfire stories
Stories from emergency services personnel. Stories from people who have defended their homes. Stories from those who have evacuated, experienced close calls, or, like us, faced the heartbreak of having their property impacted by bushfire
Bushfires don't just happen to "other people". They happen to everyday Australians, in communities just like ours
I believe there is so much value in sharing these experiences. Not only can they help others understand the reality of bushfire, but they can also remind people that they're not alone, inspire others to prepare, and preserve the lessons learned from those who have lived through it
So I'm reaching out to our amazing Mozzie Fire community
