♻️ A LOCAL STORY WORTH CELEBRATING! 🌿💚

We’re incredibly proud to see one of our wonderful local customers, Don Bambrick, recognised for the difference he is making right here on the Capricorn Coast.
Since 2020, Don has been collecting eligible containers from around our community and donating the 10¢ refunds to Capricorn Coast Landcare — raising an incredible $8,000+ to support local conservation efforts! 🌱👏

It’s a great reminder that a container doesn’t have to be rubbish. Every container can make a difference — reducing litter, protecting our environment and supporting organisations doing great things in our community.

We’re very proud that Container Refund Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast has been able to play a small part in Don’s story and help turn his containers into care for Country. 💚

When we first became part of the Containers for Change network, we thought we were simply helping people recycle and collect their 10¢ refunds.
What we've discovered is something much bigger.

Every day we see:
💚 Schools raising funds for programs and equipment.
💚 Charities supporting people who need it most.
💚 Sporting clubs helping reduce costs for local families.
💚 Community groups creating new opportunities through container donations.
That's when it stopped being just about recycling.
It became about strengthening our community.

After months of early mornings, hard training and plenty of determination, the countdown is on. Now it's time to put it all on the line.

This isn't just about boxing—it's about supporting Walk 'n' Talk and raising awareness for men's mental health. Every ticket sold helps make a real difference right here in our local community.
