𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗽𝘂𝗿.
Another sensitization workshop complete — this time in Rangpur, with microentrepreneurs from the High-Value Handicrafts and Automobile Workshop subsectors. That brings us to 12 of 15 under the Branding Activities component of PKSF's SMART Project.

Funded by the 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸, SMART supports microenterprise development across Bangladesh while advancing climate-resilient and cleaner production practices — equipping MEs to compete in the marketplace and respond to climate-related challenges.

Rangpur brought together two very different ends of the microenterprise spectrum in one room — artisans producing handicrafts rooted in regional tradition, and automobile workshop owners running service-led businesses for a steadily growing market. What connected them was a shared question: how to move beyond word-of-mouth recognition and build brands that customers actively seek out. The discussion covered product and service differentiation, visual identity, certification, and reaching new customer segments. The workshop introduced the project's vision, the support ahead, and the roles each side will play in turning that vision into market outcomes.

The series rolls on— laying the foundation for 700 individual brands that can stand confidently in the marketplace.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲.
Another sensitization workshop complete — this time in Natore, with microentrepreneurs from the High-Value Crops subsector. That brings us to 11 of 15 under the Branding Activities component of PKSF's SMART Project.

Natore's agricultural belt is known for the variety and quality of what it grows, and the workshop drew entrepreneurs working across that range — from fresh produce to value-added products built on local harvests. The conversation focused on how branding, packaging, and certification can help these MEs capture more of the value they already create, and reach buyers well beyond the local market. The workshop introduced the project's vision, the support ahead, and the roles each side will play in turning that vision into market outcomes.

The series rolls on— laying the foundation for 700 individual brands that can stand confidently in the marketplace.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮.
Another sensitization workshop complete — this time in Bogura, bringing together microentrepreneurs from three subsectors in one room: Mini Garments, Machinery & Equipment, and Loom. That takes us to 10 of 15 under the Branding Activities component of PKSF's SMART Project.

Funded by the 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙠, SMART supports microenterprise development across Bangladesh while advancing climate-resilient and cleaner production practices — equipping MEs to compete in the marketplace and respond to climate-related challenges.

Bogura is one of northern Bangladesh's busiest enterprise hubs, and the workshop reflected that energy — three different crafts, three different production realities, gathered around a shared question of how to turn skill into recognized, market-ready brands. The discussion ranged across product differentiation, certification, and reaching buyers beyond the local market. The workshop introduced the project's vision, the support ahead, and the roles each side will play in turning that vision into market outcomes.

The series rolls on— laying the foundation for 700 individual brands that can stand confidently in the marketplace.

𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲!

They were great at their jobs, so they got promoted. But suddenly they're also responsible for versatile type of tasks, such as -
• planning,
• organizing,
• Leading
• Controlling and coordinating teams,
• driving performance, and
• making decisions that affect the whole organization.

Also, since they were good as subordinates, it is expected that they will be great managers as well!

But, in most cases, the opposite happens.

Our Managerial Skill Development Program is designed to help you out exactly in these areas.

The training incorporates the P-O-L-C framework — Planning, Organizing, Leading, and Controlling.

What your managers will walk away with:
✅ A clear understanding of what managerial work actually is
✅ Practical planning skills tied to vision, strategy, and goals
✅ Stronger communication, decision-making, and team motivation
✅ A structured approach to organizing teams and managing performance
✅ The ability to tell the difference between managing and leading — and when to do which

From entry-level employees to senior-level employees, this program meets them where they are and builds what the role actually demands.

Interested organizations and individuals are welcome to book a discussion to customize this training for your team.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗷𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗷.

Two more sensitization workshops complete — this time in Sirajganj, with microentrepreneurs from the Dairy and Loom subsectors. That brings us to 9 of 15 under the Branding Activities component of PKSF's SMART Project.

Sirajganj sits at an interesting intersection — a district known both for its weaving traditions and its dairy economy. Loom entrepreneurs spoke about preserving craft while reaching new buyers, and dairy MEs raised practical questions around packaging, shelf life, and moving from local sales to wider distribution.

The workshops introduced the project's vision, the support ahead, and the roles each side will play in turning that vision into market outcomes.

With these two sessions, we have now passed the halfway mark of the workshop series.

The series rolls on— laying the foundation for 700 individual brands that can stand confidently in the marketplace.
