🚨 OFF-ROAD VEHICLE PROHIBITION 🚨

Please be advised that, effective immediately, Monday, August 10, 2026, off-road vehicles (ORVs) are prohibited on Crown Land within the Coastal Fire Centre.

This prohibition will remain in place until 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time on October 9, 2026, or until the order is rescinded.

This measure is being implemented due to the current wildfire situation and elevated fire danger across many areas of B.C., with the goal of further protecting public safety.

🚫 FULL FIRE BAN EFFECTIVE JULY 16, 2026 🚫

Please be advised that a Full Fire Ban will take effect on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. for the Fraser Fire Zone, including Leq'á:mel First Nation and the Fraser Valley.

The following are prohibited during the ban:
🔥 Category 1 (campfires)
🔥 Category 2 open fires
🔥 Category 3 open fires

This fire ban has been implemented to help reduce the risk of human-caused wildfires and to protect our community, emergency responders, and our forests.
