I don’t think most people have “tried everything.” I think they’ve tried strategies that looked good on someone else’s life.

Someone with different time. Different support. Different energy. In a different season of life.

And when it didn’t work, they assumed they were doing something wrong, or they moved on to the next method, or they decided that they could never make it work as a Virtual Assistant.

The problem is, until you find what works for YOU, nothing will.

I don’t teach one way to build a VA business. I help people build THEIR way. I show them various strategies that all work, help them choose what fits them best, and then I stay with them to suppose the through the ups and downs when real life interferes.

Some days you’re motivated and focused. Some days your body says “nope” and you listen.

At least that’s the way it should be. You NEED to listen.

Building a VA business for yourself doesn’t require pushing through every single day like nothing’s wrong. It requires knowing when to pause and when to gently start again.

Too many Virtual Assistants are being told they need to “push through”, “suck it up”, and “just keep going” through things like families being sick (hello, this time of year is nuts), needing to tend to their mental health, or needing a break because they’re on the verge of burning out.

If this week is a gentle start to the new year, good. That means you’re exactly where you need to be.

People love to talk about 6 figure months, working from the beach, and luxury lifestyles.

 But honestly, my dream life looks simple.
☕ Slow mornings with my kids. 🚗 School drop offs without the rush. 💻 Working during school hours. 🌳 Afternoons at the park.

That’s what freedom looks like to me. Not flashy. Just peaceful.

And the best part? I don’t feel the need to work 24/7. If I’m at the beach I’m at the beach!
