Emily Kirkpatrick - Virtual Assistant Coach

Emily Kirkpatrick - Virtual Assistant Coach I teach VAs the only strategy ever needed to get clients.

08/20/2026

Somehow finding clients as a Virtual Assistant started to get marketed like this:

Open an IG account, post a couple of times, tell people you’re taking on clients, watch the inquiries roll in.

That’s really not the way this works. So what do you need?

🔥 Clear positioning
🔥 Intentional outreach (not random or awkward)
🔥 Consistency beyond two weeks (ask me about my 30, 60, 90 day rule)
🔥 Strategy that fits YOU, not someone else

This is exactly what I help you create in Next Level VA. No one size fits all approach. No one strategy you HAVE to follow. We find what works for you and get you your first client in our first month working together.

Want to see if this is the right fit for you? Comment NEXT and we’ll chat.

Your client finding strategy needs to actually make sense for YOU.

I’ve coached hundreds of Virtual Assistants over the last 6 years, and one thing I’m incredibly confident about is that I could put 10 VAs in a room and give them 10 different plans for finding clients.

Here is what I want to know:

How much time do you have?
What are you actually willing to do consistently?
Where do you already have relationships?
What have you tried?
What worked?
What felt or would feel frigging awful?
Who do you want to work with?

That’s coaching.

I’m not interested in handing you MY favourite strategy, telling you to follow these steps and these steps only, and pushing through even when it feels horrible.

I want to figure out what makes sense for YOUR business and then help you stick with it long enough to get results.

If you’ve been struggling to figure out how the heck YOU should be finding clients, comment PLAN.

I started scared.

Didn’t have a website. No portfolio. I didn’t even know what I could offer. I had NO clue if this was actually going to work.

9 years later, my kids are home for the summer because I decided they could be. I don’t have to ask anyone for permission.

That’s what building my VA business gave me.

If you’re ready to build yours, I want to help you do it.

I’m looking for three VAs who are serious about signing their first or next client and building a business that actually changes their life.

Comment READY and I’ll message you.

If you want to sign clients fast as a Virtual Assistant then you need to be laser focused.

These are the three things I often see holding VAs back and would completely ignore!

You’re never going to feel 100% ready so start now, start scared, start with no clue as to what you’re doing if you have to. Just start. You won’t regret it.

There is SO much advice that says follow this path and this path only. It’s the only way to sign clients. Nah, I call BS. I’ve been a VA for nine years and have used and still use multiple effective strategies to find clients. You get to choose what works for you and leave the rest behind.

Do NOT think or feel you need to show up on multiple social media platforms. Choose one, get consistent with it, and you’ll see momentum quickly.

I’m doing a free training this week on what I would do in the next 30 days if I was starting over with my VA business. Want to join?

Every week I sit down with my one on one clients and help them figure out what deserves their attention next in their Virtual Assistant business in order to sign clients.

Sometimes it’s lead generation. Sometimes it’s pricing. Sometimes it’s mindset. Sometimes it’s content. Sometimes it’s a hard conversation they’ve been avoiding.

Every business is different which is why I don’t believe everyone should follow the exact same roadmap.

That’s what coaching is. A place to ask questions, get feedback and support, make a plan, and keep moving.

If you’ve been trying to figure things out on your own and you’re just not getting where you want to be, it might be time to have me in your corner.

Send me a DM if you’d like to chat about Next Level VA.

No cookie cutter strategies here ✌️

07/20/2026

When someone comes to me frustrated because they haven’t signed a client, I don’t immediately tell them to change everything they’re doing because that’s not necessarily the solution.

First, I want to know
❓What have you actually tried?
❓ How long have you been doing it?
❓ How consistently have you been showing up?
❓ Are you having conversations?
❓ Does the strategy even fit your personality?

Those answers tell me a whole lot more than “I can’t find clients.”

That’s why I don’t coach everyone the same way.

There isn’t one strategy I hand to every person who works with me. We figure out what makes sense for YOU and then we commit to it long enough to know whether it’s working.

If you’re feeling stuck and want someone to help you figure out how to move forward, send me a DM. I’d love to chat.

I’ve been a VA for 9 years and I keep hearing people say you should only have a couple clients with high paying packages. Never more. No packages that don’t take up at least 20 hours a week.

I call bu****it. That actually puts you right in the zone of having a full time job.

That never appealed to me. I actually enjoy having a variety of clients. My days and weeks stay interesting and not monotonous!
I don’t do the exact same thing for one business all day, every day and that’s the way I like it.

If your dream is one or two clients, amazing. If your dream is several smaller clients, that’s amazing too.

This is the best part. You get to build a business that fits your life.

What’s your ideal number of clients?

The Fully Booked VA Club is THE place you need to be if your goal is to sign clients as a Virtual Assistant.

You get my expertise... nine years of building a VA business and six years of coaching hundreds of VAs. I know what works, I know what doesn’t, and I’ll help you figure out what makes the most sense for YOUR business. I won’t make you fit into a box that was never meant for you or tell you there’s only one way to find clients.

But that’s only part of it. You also get to be part of a community of VAs who are building their businesses right alongside you and the people inside are really frigging awesome. 🤩

You learn from each other. You celebrate wins together. You ask questions. You make friends. You sign clients.

Building a business is a hell of a lot easier when you’re surrounded by people who get it.

It takes a village and that’s exactly why I built one.

I was definitely NOT confident when I started my Virtual Assistant business.

It showed up after I did the things I said I was going to do. I said I’d post so I posted. I said I’d send the message so I sent it. I said I’d follow up so I did.

Every time you keep one of those promises, you get a bit more confident.

Unfortunately the opposite happens too. When you keep putting things off, confidence starts to disappear because you’ve taught yourself that your own promises don’t mean much.

If you’re not feeling very confident right now, please don’t wait for it to magically appear.

Pick one thing you’ll do today and do it.

Tomorrow, keep that promise again.

Confidence grows when you become someone you can count on.

This is something we continuously work on in The Fully Booked VA Club because it’s SO important!! Comment CLUB if you’d like to learn more.
