Introducing Eye for Designs! EFD was created by Fanshawe Alumni Hannah Schevers. With her Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design, she is using her skills to create sewing patterns for sale online. After discovering a recent disconnect from large pattern companies to consumers, Hannah jumped in to help fill the gap and offer sewists beginner-friendly patterns with a familiar face behind them. EFD has also begun producing sew-it-yourself kits. With materials and instructions included, sewists at any level can make their favourite scrunchies, bookmarks, coasters and more!

The London Small Business Centre has launched a new program designed to support early-stage, product-based entrepreneurs — the Go To Market Incubator! 🌱

This in-person program is perfect for makers preparing to sell at farmers markets and festivals. Participants will learn the essentials: branding and signage, pricing and budgeting, permits and regulatory requirements, and how to create a strong, engaging presence at local markets.
