⚡NEWS FLASH: The NB Pay Transparency legislation has now passed its third reading, unanimously!!!
Translation? This is no longer an "if" conversation.
The two biggest changes employers should be preparing for right now:
✅ Salary ranges will need to be included in publicly advertised job postings.
✅ Employers will need to be able to explain and justify how jobs are valued and how pay decisions are made. If you've never formally evaluated roles, established salary grades, or reviewed internal pay equity, now is the time to start.
We're not even going to talk about timelines because legislation moves at its own pace, but let's just say this is so close we can feel the burn! 🔥
