"Reconciliation is built through relationships, and meaningful relationships take time."

Vincent Kewaquado, Superior Propane’s Indigenous and Community Relations Partner, reminds us that building meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities requires ongoing listening, learning and commitment.

For organizations, that means taking the time to understand community priorities, continuing to learn from Indigenous voices and experiences, and showing up beyond significant dates on the calendar.

On Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and reflect on the work that continues.

🧡 Every Child Matters.

🧡 Every Child Matters.

Tomorrow is Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a time to honour Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and listen and learn from Indigenous voices and experiences.

The design we’re sharing reflects this meaning. The feather, narwhal and flower represent First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities, while the stars honour the children who never returned home. Flowing lines represent the connections between land, water, communities and generations, and the ongoing journey of reconciliation.

At Superior Propane, we continue to learn, build relationships with Indigenous communities and turn our commitments into action.

Straight Talk with Erol Bahadir: Reliable delivery starts with earning customer trust.

Meet Erol Bahadir, VP of Logistics at Superior, and one of the people behind the planning that helps keep propane deliveries moving for our customers.

“Reliable propane delivery starts long before a truck arrives. It starts with planning ahead and putting the customer at the centre of every decision.”

For Erol, that means understanding customer needs and working to make propane delivery reliable and predictable. At the heart of it is trust: doing what we say we’ll do and keeping customers at the centre of how we plan.

🎒🚌 The backpacks are packed, lunches are made, and school buses are back on the road.

As kids head back to the classroom, you may spot more propane-powered school buses on the road. Compared with diesel, propane buses produce fewer emissions, including significantly less fine particulate matter, making propane another way communities can help reduce emissions on the school route.

Superior Propane is proud to supply the propane that helps keep these buses moving throughout the school year.

🎡 Behind some of the CNE’s most talked-about food is a lot of propane.

For years, Superior Propane has been part of what keeps the food experience moving. We supply propane to more than 20 food trucks at the CNE, with our teams and contractor partners coordinating regular propane fills throughout the event.

For generations, the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) has been an end-of-summer tradition, bringing people together for 18 days of food, rides and entertainment before the back-to-school season begins.

It’s a behind-the-scenes role in a Canadian summer tradition we’re proud to help power!

There are two types of campers: those who “packed light” and those who remembered the propane 🏕️

From morning coffee and camp cooking to powering RV appliances and evenings around the fire, propane helps make camping season more comfortable wherever the road takes you.

Before heading out, take a few minutes to check your propane cylinders, connections, and supply so your campsite setup is ready when you arrive. Always transport cylinders upright, securely fastened, and in a well-ventilated area.

With Superior Propane, you can count on reliable propane service for the camping moments that make summer memorable.
