The weekend of September 19th, our 2026 recruits took on an intense weekend of live-fire training!

From putting their skills to the test to working together under realistic fire conditions, our recruits continue to build the confidence, teamwork, and skills needed for the job.

A HUGE shoutout and thank you to Pender Island Fire Rescue for generously allowing us to use their training grounds, and to The Moving Experience for helping get our crews safely back home! We truly appreciate the support and generosity!

With only a few months left in their training, the finish line is getting closer!

Keep up the great work, recruits! You’re almost there! 🔥
