Hydro One says a tree is down on their lines outside Roebuck that has caused a power outage. Internet is affected in Roebuck, Bethel and Stones Corners.
Eta currently says 6:30pm.

Quick Update:
All towers restored except Delta - a team is on the way.

1 sector on Ventnor needs to be replaced. If you are still down - and NOT on Delta - then you may have damage as well. Give us a call this afternoon and we will investigate.

Well that was a crazy storm last night!!

We have teams going in opposite directions this morning to fix multiple towers, even the phone guy (Sevrin) is out of his wheelie chair!!! Nobody is in the office for a bit, stay tuned!!

We are back up and running in Merrickville and surrounding area on a generator.
Hydro is currently showing power restored eta of 8pm, but that could change once they get a a crew onsite and see what kinda damage they are dealing with.

Now would be a good time to check your basement sump pump for water!!

A power outage in Merrickville has depleted our backup batteries causing an outage affecting Merrickville, Burritts Rapids, and Bishops Mills areas. We have a generator on the way, you should be up and streaming shortly.

Finally, some good news after 5 consecutive Mondays this week!! đŸ˜€
Technicians just brought the fibre at our Williamsburg tower back online after yesterdays freak storm at 4pm. Our bandaid solution kept the packets moving, and the googles googling, but now we are back to 100% capacity. It's full steam ahead!

Update: South Mountain continues to have no power, but our tower is up and running on a generator.

Williamsburg saw a TORNADO touch down around 4pm. There are trees and hydro poles down just west of Williamsburg. We await word from our upstream provider on restoring the fibre that is laying on the ground.

Brinston, Williamsburg, & Upper Canada are affected by this outage. We are working on a way to reroute traffic. Stay tuned

Just in time!!! The techs just discounted from the Shanly tower as the storm rolled in!!! All equipment on the Shanly tower replaced and operational!!!

Brinston to Morrisburg still appears to have no power - hydro saying 10pm eta at the earliest but it isnt looking good. Yikes, and in this heat.
Our Brinston tower is down due to no power. Williamsburg and Upper Canada were up as this storm rolled in, hopefully they continue to have power.

Hats off to the Hydro crews braving this heat to restore power after such a massive storm. Even Brockville is suffering widespread power and internet outages. Reports of stores not having Debit/Credit machines all day. Cash only.

Shanly and surrounding area update:

Pictured below is where the cables from our equipment on the Shanly tower come into the building. Surge arrestors work well, until you have a direct lightening strike.

We have the routers and switches up and running. We are replacing the equipment at the top of the tower now. We are optimistic service will be restored to most if not all customers today.

For all the people in Johnstown, South Mountain, Brinston, and East between Spencerville to Brockville, etc who still do not have hydro - Joes SpencerCity Bar and Grill in Spencerville has lots of outlets to charge your phones, and the AC is working well.
