The Business School at Bern University of Applied Sciences offers a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship & Business Innovation. The next cohort starts in September 2026.
Students can develop the competences and mindset to drive meaningful change in business and society – whether as entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs. The program merges the concept of an accelerator with the academic rigor of a university.
As in an accelerator, students develop their own entrepreneurial ideas and receive targeted support through coaching and access to the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. At the same time, students acquire scientific knowledge, can systematically develop their competencies, and reflect on their progress in developing their own entrepreneurial ideas.
The English-speaking program is open to students from diverse academic backgrounds – including business administration, economics, engineering, natural sciences, and the arts. It also welcomes entrepreneurs launching a wide range of ventures, from social enterprises and tech startups to creative projects and intrapreneurship initiatives.
Designed as a part-time program, it *combines online learning with 4 on-campus sessions* (each 3 days) per semester.
