Am aware that a number of people in the area have had unsolicited phone calls to say that "Your IP address has been compromised" This is a SCAM.
NEVER reveal any personal information and do not let the caller take control of your PC

If you get a phone call telling you that your IP address has been compromised, just put the phone down this is a scam. NEVER reveal any personal information ...

Watch out for email speeding ticket scam.
if you get a email saying you have got a speeding ticket , take care as it will be a phishing email.
Just delete it.

Major security alert. Has your email been hacked? It very possibly could have been.
In August 2017, a spambot by the name of Onliner Spambot was identified by security researcher Benkow moʞuƎq. The malicious software contained a server-based component located on an IP address in the Netherlands which exposed a large number of files containing personal information. In total, there were 711 million unique email addresses, many of which were also accompanied by corresponding passwords
