A lovely review of the Gardeners’ Question Time that James and Roy did on Tuesday evening.

What a fantastic turnout for our October meeting! 🌿

Roy and James from Just Plants And Landscapes kept everyone entertained with a lively Q&A session, sharing plenty of useful advice, practical tips and some laughs along the way.

We also had the chance to browse and buy some gorgeous plants.

A big thank you to Roy and James for such an enjoyable and informative evening, and to everyone who came along and made it such a success. 🌱

Our next meeting is our Annual Meal in November, no meeting in December then the AGM and buffet in January.

How about these for a lovely little gift? Our Chrysanthemums are just starting to come into flower and will go on doing so until late November.
3 for £10 while stocks last.

We still have a good range of our spring flowering bulbs, although some varieties are beginning to run out.

With the forecasted rain it’s prime time to plant your evergreen hedging shrubs. Our 5 for £40 offer is still available on Privet, Euonymous, Pittosporum and Grisslinia.

It’s also a good time to plant your Evergreen climbers.
Jasmine and Honeysuckle are £12 each and 2 for £10.

We still have places for our Autumn teaching event on 11th October.
Roy and James will be demonstrating how to take hardwood cuttings and some tips on pruning ready for the winter.
They are always good fun and refreshments will be provided 😊 ☕️ 🍪

October is the month for planting Spring flowering bulbs, and we have so many to choose from.
Tulips, Crocus, Daffodils, bluebells and some gorgeous alliums including the enormous Giganteum, reaching up to 120cm in height.
